Welcome to “The Search.” The purpose of this program is to explore the proper method of examining the Bible to discover its meaning. We believe that the meaning of Scripture is synonymous with the truth and that loyalty to Christ involves the relentless pursuit of that meaning—both to know it and to be transformed by it.

The King James Version dominated the English speaking world for centuries as both a beloved translation of Scripture and best selling book. However, in the late 19th century, the production of the Revised Version launched a new era in English Bible translations that continues to the present time. David Griffin discusses that history and shows how the most well-known modern versions of the Bible relate to one another.
