Welcome to “The Search.” The purpose of this program is to explore the proper method of examining the Bible to discover its meaning. We believe that the meaning of Scripture is synonymous with the truth and that loyalty to Christ involves the relentless pursuit of that meaning—both to know it and to be transformed by it.

"Knowledge and Love" (1 Cor 8, Lesson 12)
1 Corinthians 8-10 is all about idolatry. Specifically, Paul addresses the question of whether or not it is permissible for Christians to attend feasts held in an idol temple. His approach to this subject is multi-faceted, and it all starts in chapter 8 where the apostle contrasts knowledge and love.
